A New Beginning

If every day is a new beginning, than we have all had a lot of chances.  In 46+ years I have therefore had 16,790+ beginnings.  Take out several thousand where I was of no age to make changes, or feel them necessary, and that still leaves a whole bunch of beginnings.  Of course, that also means endings, and those are sometimes more difficult than the beginnings.  Sometimes the change is so continuous that you look back, as if from a high hill, amazed at the distance you have come unknowing.
